Keyboards: US English, not QWERTZ
Macs supplied in India carry the US English keyboard. There is no German QWERTZ option in the configurations available in India. People who type German can switch the macOS input layout to German, which moves Z and Y and adds the umlauts; the printed keys stay US English.
Most India-based engineers already work on US English layouts, so this is rarely a problem for the India team itself. Tell us on the quote if any role needs to work otherwise.
A working morning shared with Germany
India is three and a half hours ahead of Germany in summer and four and a half in winter. A German morning meets an Indian afternoon, so most handovers happen before lunch in Germany.

No. Macs supplied in India carry the US English keyboard. macOS can use the German input layout; the key caps stay US English.
